I’d love to hear your testimony. If you do not want to post it on your whole tumblr, then you can email me. = )
I’d love to tell it to you. It’s a long, suspenseful story with many twists, and a surprise ending. Nah…not really. It’s nothing amazing (other than the fact that God can save someone like me). I’ll type it all out and post it soon. And to you, I’m sorry it took me almost a month to reply. No excuse, I’m a loser.Do you choose to work in a Christian book-store because of your faith?
Not really. I chose to apply there because I’m a Christian who likes books, and they hired me. I’m looking for another job currently, for two reasons. One, I need more money to pay bills. Two, I’m tired of watching people waste their money on garbage because it has a random bible verse on it. The books (most of them) I don’t mind, it’s all the other garbage we sell.hi :) i just want to ask if you ever have a “damascus” encounter? like paul when he encountered Jesus? something not usual.. my friend asked me about my encounter with Jesus… and i couldn’t think of any “dramatic” encounter..i’ve known Jesus since young because my father taught us about Him and i’ve accepted Him as my Lord and Savior but i don’t have an experience like paul’s and with many Christians.. i hope you’re getting what i’m saying..tell me if something’s unclear so i can clarify sometimes this bothers me. thanks :) God bless
I’ve had Jesus speak to me many times in different ways. It seems like a “Damascus encounter” would imply that Jesus appeared, visibly, to the person? Never experienced that.hey!im 16 years old and i am afraid of my ex boyfriend because he has stalked me. is this rational or irrational?
Hi :) I’m sorry it took so long to reply. I got your other message too. You said you are praying and staying in the Word of God, that’s good. Keep going. Prayer is the most powerful weapon you have. I don’t think it’s irrational to be afraid of someone  you’ve perceived to be a threat. But don’t let it control you! God is more than capable of fighting this. Every time the fear comes, use it to fuel your reliance on Christ.Formspring

Tumblr has been telling me to update my browser to either firefox or chrome??
Huh? Which would you suggest?

You’re probably using Internet Explorer right now. I won’t get into the nerdy explanations on why IE is horrible. I will just say that tumblr is right to suggest you use Firefox or Chrome instead. As for which one…depends. They’re both free. If you want a highly customizable Internet browser with tons of add-ons, Firefox. If you want a lightweight browser that’s super fast, Chrome.

Do you know how one goes about reblogging from blogspot?

The best way would be to copy/paste what you want to post from blogspot into tumblr. Then post a link to the person’s blog at the end. Blogspot and tumblr are different sites/platforms for it’s not quite as simple as clicking a reblog button. But, returning to the Firefox/Chrome discussion, if you use Firefox, there is an add-on called Shareaholic you can download that makes it much easier to post anything from the internet on your tumblr.

Where did you get your tumblr name from?

I originally used this name for a private prayer journal I had online. I called it a “project” because I was testing out a new method of praying; writing to God instead of talking. The word glockenspiel is just awesome. So project glockenspiel it is.

How do you organize your topics into different sections? (EX: Quotes, Q&A, Typography, etc.)

Whenever you post something, click the “advanced options” button over to the right. There’s a place to “Tag this post”. Type your tags there. For instance, I tag all my typography posts as “typography”. To link someone to all the posts under that tag, the link is http://projectglockenspiel.tumblr.com/tagged/typography.

What kind of hate mail do you get?
Awww…none yet. I was joking.

Ok so how do you control your thoughts so you aren’t sinning? What about subconciously, those are thoughts too? But can you really control what goes on while youre sleeping?

When I become aware that my thoughts are moving away from where they should be, I ask forgiveness and move forward. There’s no sense beating myself up over something I’ve already been forgiven for. I am trying to get in the habit of directing my thoughts upward rather than inward. Nope, it isn’t easy. Yes, I fail. A lot. Thankfully God knows I can’t do it on my own. That’s what grace is for.  Dreams, you’re right, you can’t control what you dream about. For that, I accept the fact that my mind is broken by sin, ask God’s help, and move forward. The more my mind is focused on Christ during the day, the less likely it is I’ll be living a sinful life in my dreams.

What’s your opinion on drinking, when of age? This is something I’ve been wondering about lately. What are your convictions?

Do I think drinking is a sin? No. Do I think drinking until you lose the ability to make rational decisions and exercise self-control is sin? Yes. I don’t drink, because I don’t trust myself to do it responsibly. I’ve also got a lot against alcoholism and what it does to families and friendships. Anyway, I believe drinking is a matter of personal conviction. “If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning” (Rom. 14:23) If you can drink without conviction, cool, but you must do it carefully, so you don’t cause another believer to stumble.

I love your typography work, it is encouraging and uplifting! What fonts do you use for your Typography?

Thanks! I use so many fonts it’s shameful. I’m addicted. The best source for quality fonts is here….and here.

Have something to say?
